Attendees describe themselves as neuroethicists, bioethicists, educators, neuroscientists, philosophers, physicians, lawyers, psychologists, and engineers. The meeting typically attracts about 150-200 in-person attendees and about 200 virtual participants from all around the world.

The next meeting will be April 15-17, 2026 with locations in Stanford, Lucca and Stellenbosch. The theme will be ‘Building Bridges and Cultivating Community.’ This event is organized in collaboration with the Società Italiana di Neuroetica (SINe) and the Stellenbosch University Department of Psychiatry.
