For anyone interested in medical image analysis, the RISE-MICCAI Summer School is an online event designed especially for first-year PhD students and early-career researchers. The program will include technical lectures, tutorials, and interactive sessions focused on machine learning and medical imaging.

We will host a UCT hub in the Neuroscience  Institute auditorium to have a local community of participants attending online sessions together, with opportunities for discussions and networking.

Dates: July 14–18, 2025, 2-7pm (attend any sessions you choose)
Format: Online (Zoom) – with a local hub at the Neuroscience Institute auditorium
Audience: Early-career researchers and PhD students, especially from LMICs
