Stein is among world's most cited scholars!

Dan Stein is among the 6 938 researchers identified as the world's most cited in 2022 by the data analytics firm Clarivate. The annual list identifies researchers with publications ranked in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year during the past decade.  

Professor Stein is a member of the NI and head of the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health. He was the recipient of a lifetime achievement award at the 14th World Congress of Biological Psychiatry in 2019. His work spans neuroscience through clinical research to public health – focusing on the psychobiology and management of anxiety and related disorders.
