In this talk, Prof. Hamker will present a framework for how the brain controls goal-directed behavior and habits. The work highlights the role of interacting cortico–subcortical looping circuits and hippocampal replay in learning and decision-making, illustrated through a neurocomputational model of a two-stage decision task.
