Research Interests
I am an artist-researcher who pursues an interdisciplinary approach to investigating topics, often concerned with human-machine interaction, informed by my studies in Sculpture, English and Interactive Electronics, a PhD in Engineering, and postdoctoral work across domains from urban studies to climate change and medical humanities. I’m interested in a three-fold account of what it means to be human: that we are social (relating to ethics, conviviality and incompleteness), tool-using (concerning technology and our relationship to objects) and storytelling (cultural production, sense-making and ethics). I’m exploring these perspectives as an artist-in-residence with the EthicsLab and Neuroscience Institute.
