Research Interests

My research interests include examining how the brain responds to injury at a cellular level (infections/traumatic brain injury) and the role of the blood-brain-barrier (BBB) concerning pharmacokinetics (i.e., how much of the drug passes across the BBB). My other interests involve research education and capacity building.
