Research Interests

My current research interests primarily involve the investigation of neuroimmune responses to two neuroinfectious diseases - neurocysticercosis and cryptococcal meningitis - utilising rodent and human organotypic brain slice culture models. The main techniques that we are utilising to do so include ELISAs, multiplex assays, immunofluorescent staining and single-nucleus RNA sequencing.
