Dr Heidi Matisonn

Research Interests

I am a philosopher with a strong interest in bioethics and research ethics. I am particularly interested in the ethics of care and how this can be operationalised in healthcare settings, especially in, but not limited to, the field of nursing, so as to respond to the issues of moral distress and moral injury. I am also currently working on a project to introduce the broader public to philosophical argument and method through an examination of social taboos.
