Research Interests

I focus on neuroimaging-genomics related to psychiatric disorders. In other words I investigate the genetic and brain-related correlates of psychiatric disorders. I use the latest technology and methods to analyse genetic risk for and brain metrics related to an array of psychiatric disorders. I utilise both local and international datasets, to ensure African populations are represented and considered within the global context. I also investigate longitudinal brain changes associated with these disorders in order to elucidate related neuro-developmental changes which may shed insights into the pathophysiology.
