UCT marks international Brain Awareness Week

UCT’s Neuroscience Institute and the student-run UCT Cortex Club held a very successful event on 14 March to mark global Brain Awareness Week. Schoolchildren were captivated by the event, which also helped to spark interest in the dynamic field of neuroscience.

The Neuroscience Institute would like to acknowledge the generous support from Tribeca Coffee for sponsoring lunch for the children, and Comet Africa for sponsoring the cost of their transport to the Faculty of Health Sciences.
